Robot 2.0 shot in 3D Technology to improve experience: Shankar

Hyderabad OCT 8: Indian Super Star Rajnikant's Upcoming film Robot 2.0 will be released in January 2018.The shooting of the film has been completed and is currently under Post Production.The filmmakers have released a 3D production video.

The video depicts that the movie is being shot in 3D technology using high end and latest cameras. Director Shankar while briefing the technology has said that "shooting the scenes in 3D is a quite difficult compared to 2D".



He has also said that "currently many films are shot in 2D and then converted to 3D but it doesnt improve the quality so we have directly shot the whole movie in three dimension so that the audience have greater experience by watching their actor close to them".

Amy Jackson is playing the female lead role in the movie and Akshay Kumar is playing the antagonist role in the movie.the film is produced by LYCA movies.

Finally, Director Shankar hopes that many movie theatres would be converted into a 3D format so that the cinematic experience is improved.
