Farmers stripped naked in police lockup, BJP MLA gave clean chit to police

Madhya Pradesh: An alleged incident of stripping of farmers in police lock up in Tikamgharh came to light but even before an inquiry was stared , BJP MLA KK Srivastava gave clean chit to the police.

BJP MLA from Tikamgarh KK Srivastava was on Thursday summoned to the state capital and made to address a press conference at the BJP office. Shrivatsava while addressing the press conference said that Congress workers were indulging in indecent semi-nude protests in town and that pictures of the same had gone viral.

"They are alleging that police stripped farmers inside the police lock up. What about Congress leaders moving topless during the protests. Did the police strip them? The fact is Congress men inside the police lockup removed their clothes on their own and made videos of the act and later twisted facts and blamed the police. I have video evidence," he said.

"I will mail the videos to everyone and expose the Congress party that does not have an issue and is trying to mislead farmers across the through mischief like this one," he alleged

But he was not able to give any video proof which he claimed to have.
