The true face of Pakistan is not hidden from anyone

Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN presented a picture of an injured Palestinian girl on Saturday and claimed that it was a pellet gun victim from Kashmir. India countered Pakistan's fake picture with true picture of an Indian Army officer who was kidnapped and killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists.

The photograph of Lt Umar Faiyaz, a young army officer from Jammu and Kashmir who was kidnapped and “brutally tortured and killed” by Pakistan-backed terrorists was presented by Paulomi Tripathi, a young Indian diplomat.



“This is a true picture,” said Paulomi Tripathi, as she held up a picture of Faiyaz during a “right-of-reply” response to Pakistani envoy Maleeha Lodhi.

“It portrays a harsh and tragic reality,” Tripathi said , and added, “This is the reality which the permanent representative of Pakistan sought to obfuscate.”
She concluded saying “The true face of Pakistan is not hidden from anyone.”
