Dasara Gift to Telangana Govt Employees

Hyderabad, Sept 23: The Telangana State government has announced a Dasara gift to the govt employees on Friday, which is 2% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees.

The government order said that the hike will be implemented with retrospective effect from January 1 this year.

According to the new revision, the employees will receive 24.104% DA of basic pay as against 22.008%.

The GO also facilitated sanction an ad-hoc increase of Rs 100 per month in cash to the part-time Assistants and Village Revenue Assistants form January 1.

The DA sanctioned shall be paid in cash with the salary of Septemeber,2017 payable on 25th September as per the directions of the Chief Minister in view of Dasara festival.

Meanwhile, The arrears on account of payment of DA for the period from January 1 to August 31 shall be credited to the General Provident Fund (GPF) account of the respective employees. Employees unions expressed happiness over hike in DA and thanked Chief Minister.
