Telangana Govt to Announce Financial Assistance for Barbers

Hyderabad Sept 23: Telangana State Government in a bid to boost the rural economy has taken another incentives and benefits to thousands of Barbers across the State.

Sources say that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will soon launch a new scheme for barbers under which financial assistance would be offered to set up new saloon shops having the latest equipment and modern tools.

R Balakrishna, State president, Telangana Nayee Brahmin Seva Sangham said that "The government is keen on promoting our community. The Chief Minister has told us that the government would be sending us for training sessions to other cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai."

Officials have said that some amount of total alloted of RS 250 crore would be spent for barbers welfare and currently 200 barbers from each district would be selected and offered assistance and training and power would be supplied at cheaper rate so that the business can be grown.
