DMK demands Resignation of Speaker and CM

Chennai Sept 20: Tamilanadu Opposition Party DMK has slammed the State Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao for not ordering a floor test for the Palaniswami government and instead allowing it to continue for nearly a month after it "lost majority" and said this led to a black episode in the state's politics.

The Party leader Stalin has demanded that the resignation of Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal, Cheif Minister E Palaniswamy, and Deputy CM
O Paneerselvam. He alleged that "Speaker acted upon the clear instructions received from central Government and it is an autocratic misuse of the powers. "

Earlier the Speaker has disqualified 18 MLA of AIADMK who withdraw support from the government after Sasikalas Aide TTV Dinakaran was removed from the party by CM E Palaniswami and O Pannerselvam.

Earlier there were reports that DMK MLAs would adopt a strategy of Mass Resignations but the party leaders have denied all such rumors and said that this move would help ruling party.
