Police warning for anyone who tries to carry weapon during Durga immersion

Director general of Bengal police Surajit Kar Purakayastha said that there have never been any immersion process with weapons and each and every procession needs police permission. He assured permission will not be given to procession where any weapons are displayed and stern action will be taken against those who doesnot abide law.

Mamata Banerjee also asked the police to take strict action if anyone is trying to takeout procession with weapons. She also said comparision is being drawn between Mumbai and Bengal police and wrong messages are being spread by BJP.
