BJP alleges TRS Govt over Liberation Day

Hyderabad, September 16: We knew that Opposition parties in Telangana State on Friday called for celebrating Liberation Day across the state on September 17. From this backdrop, The Bharatiya Janata Party has been demanding for the celebration of Telangana Liberation Day as an official program, but successive and leading governments have kept quiet over the demand.

Telangana State BJP president K Laxman on Friday said an agitation similar to the separate statehood stir needs to be organized for the purpose.



The leader has arranged a roundtable meeting here on Friday.While speaking with the media persons, he asked why Chief Minister KCR, who favored the official celebration of the day of merger (17 September) during undivided Andhra Pradesh, has changed his stance now.

Earlier, BJP party said that they would continue its agitation till the liberation day was celebrated officially.
