Congress staged a statewide protest against GO.39

Hyderabad, Sept 12: The Congress party has launched a statewide protest against GO.39 by staging dharnas at RDO offices and Tahsildar offices all across the state.

The Congress and TDP demanded the government to cancel the GO 39. TRS government formed the farmer coordinating committees through GO 39.

TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy slammed TRS for murdering democracy; he said they brought the GO. for political mileage.

"The TRS is trying to deceive farmers by constituting Farmer Coordination Committees (FCC). In name of farmer panels, the TRS is making them as rehabilitation centers for politically unemployed persons in an undemocratic way to safeguard party interests," he criticised.

Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar submitted a memorandum to RDO and demanded the government to cancel the G.O 39 and 42. He said people would teach a befitting lesson to TRS. Congress rally in Huzurabad turned violent as police interrupted the agitators.
