Calcutta HC:unfortunate Mamata Banerjee defamed Bank Employees

Mamata Banerjee used the word “gheu gheu” atleast three times in her speech. A case filed by state employees was being heard by the court who are demanding dearness allowance (DA) at par with their Central government counterparts. Acting chief justice Nishita Mahtre observed that use of such words was unfortunate.

Banerjee had said: “Let me tell you, it is useless to bark (to extract financial benefits). You can’t make me do something by exerting pressure.” on September 7 while addressing a meeting of state government employees.

This words of Banerjee started controversy online with picture of dogs being posted, who are at the receiving end.
