2K Run launched on World Suicide Prevention Day

Hyderabad, Sept 10: The Hyderabad Director general of police(DGP) Anurag Sharma has launched a 2K run at people's plaza on the occasion of world suicide prevention day here on today.

The 2K run was organized by the Indian Psychiatric Society for the purpose of eradicating suicides.

In this program, many other psychiatrists in Telangana, the youth took part in massive participation.



While speaking to media, DGP Anurag Sharma said that " There would be no suicides if people think before the moment of dying.If anyone thinks about to commit suicide, give them the right advice and let them stop their thinking", he added.
