Minister KTR reveals Hyderabad Metro Fare charges

Hyderabad, Sept 9: As we know that, Hyderabad Metro Rail will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 28th after years of delaying. Telangana Chief Minister KCR invited the Prime Minister and got a positive nod from Modi.

The first phase between Miyapur and Nagole will be stretched for 28 kms. HMR director NVS Reddy revealed the news officially. The government will examine and approve the fares after which they will be announced officially by L&T who is the project developer. L&T has been asked to submit the proposals which will take place soon.

Telangana Minister KTR recently announced that the price band would vary from Rs 13 to Rs 25, however, a source close to L&T revealed that the price band would be between Rs 20 and Rs 30.

NVS Reddy revealed that the government would decide the prices and a seamless smart card will be released.

A special app is being developed on Hyderabad Metro which will keep the visitors updated about the fares, timings, and other news. Telangana government promised to build skyways for metro commuters. Special electric vehicles will be out for metro commuters.
