Blue whale game claims another Life in UP

Lucknow, Sept 8: A drastic incident has taken place recently.A 14-year-old boy has committed suicide. He has hung himself in his room. This incident took place in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said that they are investigating the case and they suspect that the boy has committed suicide while playing the Blue Whale Challenge.They have also said that "the body of Aditya Vardhan was found hanging in his room in Indira Nagar yesterday".

Sources say that the boy was playing the dreaded game on his mobile for the past two weeks and he was tense. Blue whale game is an online game responsible for the death of many children.



Earlier the Union Information Technology Ministry had also directed social media giants such as Facebook, Google, and Instagram to remove links of the controversial game from their sites.

Uttar Pradesh DGP has said that "We are launching a major awareness campaign to make sure that children don't play the game".
