SIT to start investigation in gauri lankesh murder case

An investigation has been started by SIT in the murder case of senior journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh. Home minister said that the government is hopeful of cracking the case.

Gauri Lankesh was known for her anti-right wing opinions, and was brutually murdered by some unidentified assailants on the night of September 5th.Police team were able to identify one of the killer with the help of CCTV footage of Gauri lankesh house.



21-member SIT team (the Special Investigating Team) has been formed by Karnataka government to nab the culprit. Many people protested and posted tweet that there is no freedom of speech and the person who had guts to talk has been killed.
