39 Indian-Hostages held by ISIS; reported safe in IRAQ

Search operations is going to begin to trace 39 Indians who were in the custody of the Islamic State (ISIS).General VK Singh, Minister of State of External Affairs, would be heading to Iraq as per the developments.

"There are areas near Badush which have to be cleared of ISIS terrorists by Iraq government and as soon as that happens General VK Singh would be sent there," was reported by MEA sources .

Once the Iraqi forces clear all corners of the cities including Tal-Afar of ISIS terrorists, the Indian delegation would initiate efforts to locate the missing Indians.

Among them mostly are from Punjab , they are held as hostage by ISIS terrorists in the Iraqi city of Mosul since 2014. They were last seen in Badush Jail which was destroyed by ISIS while escaping from there.
