Telugu states Governor ESL Narasimhan Undergoes Surgery

Hyderabad, Sept 5: The Telugu states (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) Governor ESL Narasimhan underwent a minor foot surgery on Monday at the State-run Gandhi Hospital.

Mr. Narasimhan has arrived in the afternoon to have a corn on the heel of his right foot removed. Last month, he visited the hospital to get his foot checked before opting for surgery.

According to doctors at the hospital, Mr.Narasimhan was operated upon by a team of doctors who performed the procedure with local anesthesia.

The Governor was wheeled out of the theatre and to his waiting convoy as he was asked to avoid walking for 24 hours in order to prevent bleeding. In recent past, the Governor took a keen interest in the functioning of Gandhi Hospital.
