Sri Kanakadurga temple ticket prices slashed

Vijayawada, Sept 5: Here is the good news for devotees of Goddess Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada.

The Trust Board Committee of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam has decided to reduce the price of Darshanam tickets to 50% of the present actual price.

In the Committee meeting held here on Monday, The darshanam ticket prices reduced to half was one of the key decisions taken as per the agenda.

At present, the prices of Darshanam tickets are Rs.300 and Rs.100. The Committee has approved to make Rs.300 tickets available for Rs.150 and Rs.100 ticket for Rs.50. A report will be sent to the state government for approval of the new rates.

Other decisions taken by the committee include distribution of Prasadam to persons in far off places through postal department charging Rs.100 and Rs.50 from desired devotees, Sivarchana Seva at the sixth floor of Mahamandapam for Rs.650.

Also, the committee approved the decision to organize annual function for Kanakadurga at Kanakadurga Prachara Parishad, Andhra Bhavan on the lines of TTD annual function.
