Manish Tewari fires on Modi Govt

New Delhi, September 04: Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari has attacked Narendra Modi govt here on Sunday. He stated that, The Narendra Modi and his team of ministers as a senior citizen's club. Tewari described the reshuffled cabinet with nine new ministers as a senior citizens' club and pointed out that while the median age in the country was 27 years, the average age of the new entrants was 60.44 years.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, he said, "Modi seems to have no confidence in his political colleagues if he is appointing former ministers as ministers." He also claimed that the Prime Minister was strangely disconnected from the Cabinet reshuffle exercise. "It seems that (BJP president) Amit Shah is the prime minister," he said.
