South Central Railways held a cleanliness drive

Vijayawada, Sept 3: The South Central Railway (SCR) officials have organized a cleanliness drive in the Vijayawada division railway station here on Saturday.

As part of the drive, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) R. Dhananjayulu, inspected the fast food centers and hotels on the platforms and observed the sanitation. He tasted the food and checked the quality of water being supplied to the passengers in the canteens.

Mr.Dhananjayulu directed the catering stall owners to maintain cleanliness and serve quality food, failing which action would be taken against the establishment owners, he warned.

Additional DRM K. Venugopal Rao and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shifali Kumar and other officials visited the catering stalls, waiting rooms, VIP lounge, toilets, booking office, and other amenities on the platforms.

Officers accompanied the Additional Divisional Railway Manager.
