TamilNadu NEET Girl commits Suicide

Tamilnadu, Sept 2: A sad incident took place yesterday. A Girl who has challenged the NEET applicability for medical admissions in Tamilnadu in Supreme Court has ended her life yesterday.

The girl who secured 1,176 out of 1,200 marks in her Class XII State Board examinations couldn't join the MBBS course due to her poor scores in NEET has left the world in Ariyalur district yesterday.

Earlier S. Anitha has urged the Supreme Court to ensure that TamilNadu is exempt from NEET and the State Government has amended the law but the Central Government was not in favor of it and the apex court has dismissed her petition and ordered that the counseling process must be completed by September 4 based on the merit list obtained in NEET rankings.

Currently, students must pass NEET exam for getting admissions in MBBS and PG seats of medical colleges. Sources say that girl has taken this drastic decision because she couldn't fulfill her dream and she went to depression. Many people have expressed their solidarity and condolences on the demise of her life.
