Governor ESL Narasimhan, CM KCR extends Bakrid greetings

Hyderabad, Sept 02: The Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have extended their greetings to the Muslims in two Telugu states on the occasion of Bakrid (Id-ul-Zuha) here on Saturday.

In a message, the Governor said " I extend my cordial greetings and good wishes to all my Muslim brethren in Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana States. Bakrid holds immense significance in the Islamic faith and is celebrated across India and all over the world with great enthusiasm.

Bakrid symbolizes sacrifice, absolute devotion to God and compassion for the poor. It also emphasizes the principle of sharing what one has with others. Let this spirit of charity and goodwill towards all be cherished and nourished".

In a message, the Chief Minister said that Allah may bring joy, happiness, peace, and prosperity on this blessed occasion.
