Demonitization was Money laundering process by PM MODi

The topic of demonitisation of 1000rs and 500rs notes in 2016 came back with Sitaram Yechury calling it money laundring technique used by PM Modi.

The Reserve Bank of India released the annual report stating that all except for 1.4 percent of the 1,000 rupee note that was banned on November 8 last year has returned to the banking system.

With this report the question arised why was economist Raghuram Rajan was asked to quit. CPI raised many questions related to demonetization after the RBI report was released.

CPI, General Secretary Sitaram Yechury accused Modi for converting black money to white using demonetization. The objectives of demonetization which were mentioned by Narendra Modi, bringing back black money, ending corruption, suffocating terrorist funding and tackling counterfeit currency have not been met.
