Modi Cabinet Expansion

New Delhi Aug 31: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi may soon expand his cabinet anytime soon. The Sources say that the date for the event has been fixed and it may happen before September 3. PM Modi is leaving for China and Myanmar next week to attend BRICS summit. Currently, there are vacancies in the cabinet and some Ministers are holding additional charges.

Recently Suresh Prabhu has resigned as Railway Minister and his portfolio may be given to recently joined JDU in NDA. The PM may also give some additional berths to south Indian Ministers because of the party's aim to expand their base to new regions.

Sources say that AIADMK may not be given any cabinet posts because they have not yet officially confirmed their support and the party future is still hanging on. Many Ministers have Met Amit Shah today and there are chances that Current BJP president may also be inducted into the cabinet.
