CM KCR extends land lease of Exhibition Society

Hyderabad Aug 31: A false news has created tensions in state government. A news that the Telangana State Government has canceled the land lease given to the Hyderabad Exhibition Society at Nampally. has made the government faced criticism.

Currently, every year Industrial Associations along with local vendors held Numaish exhibition at the ground for the public to visit and refresh themselves during the months of January and February.

The state CM KCR reacting to reports has ordered that permission must be granted to extend the land lease given to Society by further more 99 years.

Finance Minister Etela Rajender has said that "the reports are false and baseless and the State CM will always respect and welcome all traditions and culture of the state and he has extended the license".

However, the Opposition parties have criticised that "Government has done a cover-up and said that the reports were true and they canceled the license for handing over the land to private persons,facing backlash and public pressure later they decided to change the order issued".
