PSLV C-39 Countdown begins after technical issues rectified

Srihari Kota Aug 30: A remarkable event will take place tomorrow.Indian Space Research Organisation will launch IRNSS-1H a satellite using PSLV C39 Rocket.The 29-hour countdown for tomorrow's launch has begun at 14.00 Hrs and is successfully going on.

The scientists have said that the launch of the rocket is delayed by one minute because of the technical issues and they have rectified it.

The satellite to be launched would be a backup satellite for current Existing seven satellites of Indian navigation satellites NavIC.



Scientists have said that they have found out some problems in IRNSS 1 A and they are backing it up with a new satellite. The rocket would lift off from the launch pad at 19:00 Hrs located at Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

The main features of the satellites are

* The launch vehicle PSLV-C39 will use the 'XL' version of PSLV equipped with six strap-ons, each carrying 12 tons of propellant.

* 1,400 kg spacecraft was built and tested by ISRO along with a consortium of six small and medium industries.

Earlier the space organization has developed Indian navigation System similar to Global Positioning System GPS developed by the USA.
