Husband harassed his wife

Hyderabad, Aug 29: Here a 24-yr-old woman has filed a complaint against her husband, accusing him of harassing her at Ghatkesar police station on Tuesday.

While coming to details, The victim woman named as Priyanka, who married to B Ravi six years ago and they were staying in Annojiguda.Ravi is working as a senior manager with a Central government organization while Priyanka is a housewife.

A week ago, the woman was forcibly taken to a hospital by her husband, who was suspecting her fidelity. Following arguments over this, she along with her parents approached the police and lodged a complaint. Police have registered a case under Section 498 of IPC and took up the investigation.

"After verifying the facts, action will be taken against Ravi," said B Prakash, Inspector, Ghatkesar.
