Telangana Governor, CM condole Former TD EO Prasad demise

Hyderabad Aug 21: A sad incident took place yesterday.
E S L Narasimhan, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh Governor today expressed his condolences over the death of retired IAS officer P V R K Prasad.

Governor said that "Prasad rendered yeoman services in the undivided state of Andhra Pradesh in various posts".

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao "expressed grief over Prasad's demise and remembered his services in various posts in the state and Central governments".

Retired IAS officer was the additional secretary was and media adviser to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, he has died of cardiac arrest at a hospital here in the wee hours today.

Prasad was an IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre and has held several important posts, such as executive officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). He also served as the chairman of Vizag Port Trust during his illustrious career.
