Bandaru Dattatreya launched Swachh Rail- Mission Cleanliness Drive

Hyderabad, Aug 17: The Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya was formally launched 'Swachh Rail- Swachh Bharat, Swachhta Pakhwada'- the Mission Cleanliness Drive - from the Kacheguda Railway Station on Wednesday.

After administering the pledge, he called upon the citizens to maintain cleanliness and participate actively in the program towards making the country attain developed status in line with the thoughts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav said the cleanliness awareness program is being observed from August 16 to 31 to keep the trains, station premises clean and hygienic.

The zone is always at the forefront in maintaining cleanliness standards and efforts are being made to improve further to achieve highest possible standards with a systemic approach.

Later, he along with Mr. Dattatreya and BJP MLA G. Kishan Reddy plus other officers participated in the cleaning work in the circulating area of the station.

The Swachhta Pakhwada will involve various stakeholders including the railway officers/staff, rail family members, and traveling public.
