Telangana to present Haritha Mitra Awards

Hyderabad, Aug 13: The Telangana government has announced that it has planning to give the 'Haritha Mitra Awards' to the people, who have put the more efforts to increase the greenness.

The list includes the representatives of public officials, officers, employees, public and private organizations.

On the occasion of 70th Independence Day(August 15), the listed people will be awarded the Haritha Mitra awards. The Forest Department has stated that the state government has identified the people, who strived for greening in the 'Telangana Harithaharam' and selected for the awards.



There are five me=mbers have been selected for the state level Haritha Mitra awards. In those Divisional Secretary, Y. Sekhar Reddy (Warangal Rural District), In politicians Peddi Sudarshan Reddy (Warangal Rural, Nallabelli Mandalam), Forest Officer C Sridhar Rao (Siddipet District DFO), In Government sector MPPS Murrapalli (Jagitial District), Educational Institutions and SCCL Ramagundam Area are respectively.

At the district level, 50 awards were announced for individuals, companies and local organizations.
