Police checks in several divisions of Hyderabad

Telangana, Hyderabad, August 10: The Telangana Police officials are conducting inspections in various divisions in the city. Police, intelligence and immigration officials jointly organized these inspections.

Nearly, 50 teams are conducting checks in the Racha Konda, Cyberabad and Hyderabad Commissionerate. Police are investigating passports and visas from the suspected people.

The police officials also check in the African houses at Asifnagar west Mandal area Around 25 people were detained by police. Officials examined 100 Nigeriens passports in Bandendlauda in Rajendranagar range. Near about 10 people without visas were arrested by police.

The searches followed the arrests of some foreigners during the investigation in a drug racket.

Officials said they identified some foreigners staying on in the city even after the expiry of their visas. They said the process would be started to deport them.
