KTR started Handloom celebrations

Telangana, Hyderabad, August 07: National Handboom celebrations are held in People's Plaza of Hyderabad.

Telangana Minister K Taraka Rama Rao started the textile presentation on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, he said, Everybody, should wear the handloom products".

He also said that, In our country, Handloom is the biggest employment opportunity after the agriculture.we will assure the handloom weavers and we are allocated Rs. 1280 crore budget to this section.

About 40,000 handloom workers have been given pensions. We will bring international recognition to handloom products, KTR added.

Finally, he said that handloom workers will be benefitted by the schemes taken by the Telangana Government .
