KCR tributes to Prof. Jayashanker

Hyderabad, August 06: The Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao said Professor Jayasankar Sar was inspired by the Telangana community.
On the occasion of Jayasankar Jayanti(Birth Anniversary), KCR has paid tribute to him.
He is the pioneer in the Telangana movement.
Prof Jayashankar, who was born in this village on August 6, 1934, died on June 21, 2011. The economics professor worked as the Registrar of the then Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), EFLU now, before being appointed Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University in 1991.
The Warangal villagers are gearing up to observe the 83rd birth anniversary of Prof Jayashankar on Sunday. Warangal Rural District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil is scheduled to take part in the programme.
