Lok Sabha passes Bill for setting up petroleum institute in Vizag

Vishakapatnam, August 05: Here is the good news for the Vizag people, as the Lok Sabha has passed the bill here on Friday.
The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) Bill - 2017 passed by the Lok Sabha on Friday.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today presented the bill to incorporate the university in recognition of the national priority and independence of the IIP, which was already started in the temporary campus in Visakhapatnam.
He said that the Andhra Pradesh Government has allocated 200 acres for this university, which is expected to cost an estimated cost of Rs 600 crore.
