Patanjali accused of not paying salaries

New Delhi, Aug 05: The Former CEO of the Patanjali Ayurveda SK Patra has made sensational comments on Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. Patanjali Company, which has reached at a turnover of Rs 10,500 crore, has been accused of not paying salaries to employees and working with them under the name of service.

While Speaking in an interview, Patra revealed that the company is paying very little salaries to the employees. Babaji (Baba Ramdev) describes this as calling it a service.

Patanjali said that the company was born for service and now he gets a salary and then it will not get a salary. Patanjali is the 'service' of human being that gives the strength to Patra's comments.

Patanjali Ayurved even on its official website claims to be "In the service of mankind" by doing 'Seva'.

Patra, an Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Management graduate, used to argue with Baba Ramdev to even get his promised salary.

"I used to respond, No, I want my money. I said I don't need it for myself. I have a family. I need money for my family, to support them and my relatives. Then Babaji relented and gave me a salary for one of the two jobs that I was performing. But basically, his argument was I have to offer free seva to his host of companies," he was quoted as saying by the Mint.
