UP Raksha Bandhan special gift to women

Lucknow, Aug 4: As part of special gift on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced on Thursday that women across the state will get the free ride on all state-owned buses on Raksha Bandhan day i.e.August 07(Monday).
Meanwhile, The women will be able to avail free ride from midnight of August 6 till midnight of August 7.
The Chief Minister Yogi has given necessary instructions to the officials of the Uttar Pradesh State Roadways Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
However, The Uttar Pradesh state government has also asked the police to ensure that the free ride for women is safe and that they do not face any trouble at the hand of eve-teasers or any anti-social elements.
