KCR about Drug Case

Hyderabad, Aug 03: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been addressed a press meet where he stated that Telangana is in the least in drugs consumption further clarifying that complete support is given to the officials to uproot drugs from the state, here on Wednesday.

He also responded to the Telugu film industry's letter on the issue where KCR was urged to deal the drugs case sensitively since thousands of families are depending on films for their livelihood.



The Tollywood celebs in the letter stated that they would take action against those involved in selling or peddling drugs.

Responding to the letter, KCR reiterated that the state government didn't target the Telugu film industry and the focus mainly is on to curb smuggling of banned drugs in Telangana.
