Kamal Hasan fined for BIG BOSS Show

Chennai, July 31: Versatile Actor Kamal Hasan has fined 100 crores by the Puthiya Tamizhagam party here on Monday.

Coming to retails, Puthiya Tamizhagam party leader has filed a defamation suit against actor Kamal Haasan and others for Rs 100 crore.

Besides Kamal Haasan, notices were issued to Bigg Boss contestant and choreographer Gayatri Raghuram, a production company, and a private television channel for allegedly hurting the sentiments of slum-dwellers and those living in huts through comments made by a participant on the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil.

The suit was filed by Puthiya Tamizhagam chief Krishnamurti alleging that the show was slaughtered by slum dwellers and huts. He demanded that Kamal, Gayatri and TV channel should apologize with in Seven days.



In the legal notice, the party has sought Rs 100 crore as damages if the actor and the TV channel failed to tender an unconditional apology within seven days of receipt of the notice.

Gayatri made serious comments on an actor who was a competitor in the show. In an episode of the Big Boss Tamil, participant Gayatri Raghuram made a remark on another actor's behavior as that one of living in slums and huts.

"This insults the lower caste and lower economic strata people," the notice said.
