Woman commit suicide over Harassment

Hyderabad, July 30: Every day we are seeing the so many harassment cases, here is such a case happened in the capital of Telangana.

A married woman committed suicide at her residence on Friday in Miyapur.

According to the police officials, The woman identified as Gowtami married Veerender Keerthi Babu in March this year but just two weeks into the marriage, she was being harassed by her husband and mother-in-law.

Fed up with the constant harassment, she returned to her parents' place on Thursday night informing them of her ordeal.

When her parents spoke to Veerender regarding the same, he threatened to divorce her. Depressed over her life, Gowtami committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan when her parents left home on Friday.

They found her hanging on Saturday when they returned home.

Following a complaint filed by Gowtami's father, the police registered a case and are trying to nab her husband and mother-in-law who fled on learning Gowtami's suicide.
