CM KCR gift for outsourced employees

Hyderabad July 30: A good news for employees. Telangana CM KCR has yesterday signed a file to regularize (absorb) the services of 20,903 outsourced employees working in 4 power utilities in Telangana states.The utility-wise employees who would be regularized are

* Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Ltd (TS-Genco) - 2114.
* Transmission Corporation of Telangana Ltd (TS-Transco)-4997.
* Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TSSPDCL)- 9459.
* Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TSNPDCL)-4333.

CM has signed the file after an agreement was signed between Telangana Electricity Trade Unions' Front (TETUF) and the power entities of the state.

Sources say that the employees would be absorbed based on their seniority.and the salaries of newly regularized people would be paid by the utilities and not contractors.

The Employees have hailed CM for delivering the promise he has made.
