Telangana to decentralize Industrial policy

Sangareddy, Telangana July 30: An inauguration took place recently. KT Rama Rao Minister for Major Industries, IT and MA & UD yesterday has launched fully automatic Solar Module Manufacturing Facility of Premier Solar Systems at Annaram village of Gummadidala mandal in Sangareddy district on Saturday.

Speaking at the occasion he has said that "the main aim of the Telangana state government is to decentralize the establishment of industries across 31 Telangana districts based on the resources available in the respective places".

He has said that works of following industries are in full swing and would soon be completed

* Textile Park in Warangal and Siricilla.
* Cement industries in Suryapet.
* Granite industries in Khammam.
* Agro and forest-based industries in Adilabad district.
* Women industrial park of FICCI-FLO at Sultanpur.
* LED Bulb Park in Jinnaram Mandal of Sangareddy District.

KTR has also said that "we would create a map of resources available across the State to identify the best locations to set up a particular industry".

He has said that decentralizing Industrial policy would create more number of jobs in the state. He has also said that

# We have created employment for 2.5 lakh people directly by setting up 4,000 industries with an investment of Rs 76,000 crore
# 7.5 lakh people were benefited indirectly.

The Minister has also distributed E-Solar Rickshaws to disabled people.
