Rajyasabha passes 2 bills,Loksbha passes 1 bill

New Delhi July 26: The proceedings of the Rajyasabha have also undergone smoothly. The Upper House today has passed Two Important Bills. The Following Bills were passed today
* The National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research Amendment Bill,2017.
* The Collection of Statistics (Amendment) Bill, 2017.
NITSER bill: This bill would establish 2 new IISER in country one in Tirupati as promised in AP reorganization act and another one in Odisha.
The collection of Statistics Bill: This bill would help the statistical officers to collect the data from Jammu and Kashmir state and a Nodal officer for collecting data would be appointed.
Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh has replied on the Agrarian crisis in the country. The Loksabha has passed Indian Institutes of Information Technology Amendment Bill 2017.
The bill seeks to amend IIIT ACT to appoint new directors and declare Indian Institute of Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Kurnool as an institution of national importance.
Let's hope that fruitful discussions take place in the house and many more important bills are passed.
