Modi meets Kovind

New Delhi, July 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi specially met Indian President Ram Nath Kovind. This morning, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Kovind was honored with Shalva.

Coming to matter, The "Bharat ka samvidhadan book" was handed over to Kovind. Later, they discussed a number of issues.

Here, Prime Minister took his twitter and tweeted that, " Called on Rashtrapati ji this morning", he tweeted here on Wednesday.

However, Kovind assumed office as 14th President yesterday.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Ram Nath Kovind's swearing-in as the next president is a "significant milestone" in the journey started by BJP's ideologue Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
