Roads of Hyderabad to be repaired

Hyderabad, July 21: Many Roads in the Hyderabad has been damaged due to the heavy rains. From this aspect, the govt came into action to repair the roads.

Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao has been holding a meeting to review the progress of road repair works in the city, here on Thursday. Most of the roads were battered by heavy rains. The Minister also reviewed on Musi development and cleaning of Hussain Sagar.



He held the meeting at Begumpet camp office which was attended by top officials of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Hyderabad Road Development Corporation and Hyderabad Road Development Corporation (HMDA).

KTR has asked the officials GHMC engineering section to speed up road repair works. The Minister also directed the officials to lay cement roads instead of BT roads abutting the flyovers and skyways. The officials were asked to submit proposals for additional funds for works, if necessary.
