Preventive measures against diseases

Hyderabad, July 20: The Telangana State Medical Health Minister Dr.C. Laxma Reddy Reddy said all kinds of measures are being taken to cope with seasonal diseases. Minister Laxma Reddy has conducted a review meeting with ministers here on Wednesday.He ordered officials to take early steps with coordination of various departments.

Around 1414 villages under 358 basic health centers in the state have been identified as problematic areas and 36 municipalities. The minister warned that there is 54 lakh people are at risk of being infected with the disease.As part of the prevention measures, 3,35,711 rapid diagnostic tests will be conducted.

As part of the Haritha Haram celebration, Minister has planted medicinal plants at IIHFW. Many officials participated in the program.
