Presidential election results, 1st round completed

New Delhi, July 20: The counting of votes for the recent presidential election started in Parliament House here on Thursday. Shortly after Ram Nath Kovind, who was pushed by Miera Kumar in the first round.
Ram Nath Kovind for BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, Miera Kumar, who is a Congress-led United Progressive Alliance, has been contesting for President's post.
A total of 4,120 MLAs and 776 MPs have a right to vote and 99 per cent voting. The ballot boxes from 32 polling stations in different states will be open to vote count. Full results can be found within 5 hours in the evening.
