Telugu states favorable for Investments

Hyderabad, July 19: The Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have emerged as top states, which are favorable to put the investments among 20 states.

In all 20 states and one Union Territory's (Delhi) list, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana got three and five ranks respectively.

Gujarat state bagged top rank in the list. Tamil Nadu -6, Kerala-7, Maharashtra -8, Karnataka-9 and Madhya Pradesh 10 are in the top 10 list.

The National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) announced the list in its report. The six key benchmarks, such as labor force, infrastructure, economic climate, governance-political stability, awareness, land, and 51 sub-factors have been identified.

In 2016, Gujarat and Delhi have retained the same positions in comparison to the 2016 list, while Haryana and Telangana have entered the top 5 list.

Gujarat is top in Financial sector and Delhi was the first richest in the development of infrastructure. Tamil Nadu to meet to resolve labor problems, Madhya Pradesh is in the lands.

NCAER Director General Shekhar Shah said, "Investments in all sectors of India are expanding now. The GST will bring Indian states together. Never before has this been possible", he added.
