Telangana Minister attends Railway Court

Hyderabad, July 19: The Telangana Ministers Naini Narsinhareddy and Padmavarao were present at the Secunderabad Railway court in the case of Rail Roko here on Wednesday.

The case was postponed to June 26.The Rail Roko was held at Mauli Railway Station on the all-party call during the Telangana movement in 2011. Railway police registered a case against 14 accused in the case.

The case is being prosecuted in the court over the last six years. Naini Narsinhareddi, who attended the court on Wednesday, told the media that the railway police had alleged that they had abandoned the Godavari rail as it had stopped. We have gone to the railway junction but we have not stopped the train, he told the court.

On the other hand, the Railway Police had submitted their arguments with full evidence before the judge.
