Parliment adjourned on First day

New Delhi July 19: The Monsoon session of Parliament had started yesterday after the first day was adjourned as a mark of respect of passed away members. The Opposition has forced to adjourn both the houses for today.

RajyaSabha: The house was disrupted by opposition party members when BSP chief Mayawati was not allowed to speak in the house about the Dalits. The speaker has asked her to end her speech after the time allotted for her was completed and she refused to complete her speech and she quit the Rajya Sabha.Finally, the government has agreed and said that they will have a short duration discussion on the issue today.

LokSabha: The Lower house was also adjourned for the day after congress and other parties demanded a discussion on farmers distress and various other issues and they started shouting slogans. sources say that farmers discussions may take place today.
