Beedi Workers to get Identity cards

New Delhi, July 18: The Central Labor Welfare Fund Advisory Committee has decided to give identity cards to Beedi workers throughout the country on Monday.

There were several resolutions are announced at a meeting organized by Union Minister Dattatreya here on Monday.

Kalal Srinivas, a member of the committee, explained to the media, He said that "The Centre must provide scholarships to children of Beedi workers.and Beedi workers are brought under ESI", he said.

The Workers can also apply for the loan for construction of the house, who are unable to get Provident Funds.

Let's hope that the identity cards issued by the Centre would be helpful for Beedi workers.
