Hyderabad, July 18: Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy has been accused the TRS government of falsely implicating Warangal Congress leaders in the murder case of TRS Corporator Anishettty Murali Manohar.

Mr. Reddy and the other two — P. Sriman and Kanuganti Sekhar, an ex-corporator — were accused four to six respectively in the recent murder of TRS corporator A. Murali in Warangal.

Telangana Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy shot off an open letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy spoke over the phone to Director-General of Police Anurag Sharma, saying the case exposed the vindictive attitude of the government in a bid to suppress Congress activists.

Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy highlighted that the case was foisted under pressure from local TRS leaders. In the remand report filed by the police, it was shown that Mr. Rajender Reddy, Mr. Sriman, and Mr. Sekhar had conspired to commit the murder in December 2015
